Don’t Get Caught Asleep

“You will never catch the devil asleep; let not the devil catch you asleep.” — Charles Spurgeon

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” 1 Peter 5:8

The enemy doesn’t rest. He prowls quietly, patiently, looking for open doors and unaware hearts. The moment we become spiritually lazy is the moment we become spiritually vulnerable.

We are not called to live in fear, but we are called to live awake. This means being rooted in God’s Word, consistent in prayer, and watchful in our daily walk. Complacency is costly. Vigilance is victory.

Stay alert. Stay grounded. And know—I’m praying for you.

In Jesus’ name.
