Be Still and Know

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 (NKJV)

There are moments when we try to fix everything, understand everything, and control everything. But God calls us to something different: be still.

Being still doesn’t mean giving up. It means surrendering our need to control the outcome and trusting the One who already sees the beginning, the middle, and the end.

When life feels uncertain, God is still God. When the answer hasn’t come, He is still faithful. When the storm is raging, He is still our refuge and strength.

Today, stop striving and start trusting. Quiet your heart, release your fears, and remember: God is God, and He is still in control.

Prayer

Lord, help me to be still when my heart wants to run ahead. Teach me to trust You when I cannot see the way. Remind me that You are God, You are faithful, and I am safe in Your hands. In Jesus’ name, amen.
