Carried by Grace

“Nothing puts life into men like a dying Savior.” — Charles Spurgeon

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV

Grace isn’t just a word we toss around in hard seasons, it’s the very lifeline that holds us together. It’s what carries us when strength fails, when answers don’t come, when peace feels far. If we could earn our way, we’d boast in ourselves. But grace reminds us that we can’t, and more importantly, don’t have to.

Jesus took the full weight of sin so we could walk free, not with pride, but with confidence. Not because of our strength, but because of His.

Today, rest in that. Don’t fake strength. Don’t run on empty. Let grace carry you.

Father, thank you that your grace doesn’t run dry. Teach us to stop striving and start abiding. In Jesus’ name.
