“The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace." - Exodus 14:14 NKJV
Be Still and Trust
Moses spoke these words to the children of Israel just before the crossing of the Red Sea. Moses represents Jesus Christ, the children of Israel represent you and me, and the crossing of the Red Sea is a powerful representation of salvation itself.
Stillness and peace are among the most difficult attitudes of faith to maintain, especially in today’s busy culture. It can be incredibly challenging when all your instincts tell you to run or fight. Do you take time in your day to simply be still and listen to God? What prevents you from these moments with Him?
Salvation is like that. God does the work—not us. Trusting Him enough to let Him do His work can be the greatest battle we will ever face. It’s the battle of surrender and faith.
The Bible says, "Be still, and know that I am God."
