When the Enemy Just Won’t Stop
“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” — Ephesians 6:13 (NKJV)
There are seasons when it feels like the enemy never lets up. One battle ends, and another begins. The lies keep coming, the temptations keep knocking, and discouragement tries to wear us down. Yet Scripture reminds us that our victory is not found in our own strength but in the strength of the Lord.
Paul doesn’t tell believers to run from the battle—he tells them to stand. We stand by putting on the whole armor of God, remaining faithful in prayer, filling our hearts with God’s Word, and trusting that Jesus has already won the ultimate victory at the cross. The enemy may be persistent, but he is not all-powerful. God is greater, and His grace is sufficient for every attack.
If you feel weary today, don’t quit. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep standing. The battle may be fierce, but the Lord fights for those who belong to Him. Every moment of faithful endurance brings glory to God and strengthens your faith.
Heavenly Father, when the enemy refuses to stop, help me to remain steadfast. Strengthen me with Your power, guard my heart and mind, and remind me that my victory is found in Christ alone. Help me to stand firm in faith, clothed with Your armor, until the battle is won. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
