Peace in Uncertainty

In The Bible Jesus says in Matthew 24:6 “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed.”

That’s a powerful instruction; do not be alarmed. Not because conflict isn’t real, but because God’s presence is more real.

The world has always experienced tension, conflict, and uncertainty. From ancient battles to modern headlines, “wars and rumors of wars” remind us that human peace is fragile. But God’s peace is not.

When everything around you feels unstable, you’re invited to anchor yourself in something unshakable. God is not surprised by what’s happening. He is not anxious. And He offers that same steady peace to you.

Instead of letting fear take over, let it be a reminder to draw closer to Him. Pray. Stay grounded in truth. Trust that even when the world feels loud and chaotic, God is still in control.

God, when I hear unsettling news and see chaos around me, help me not to live in fear. Remind me that You are steady, present, and in control. Fill my heart with Your peace, even when the world feels uncertain. Amen.
