“You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right. Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong." - Hebrews 5:12-14 NLT

King Baby

It is hard for some of us to believe that those close to us can see through us. They can see the real person versus the person we think we are portraying. We might be acting like we are king of our domain—which, by the way, is foolish—but they see immaturity or a lack of character development. They might view us more like a big baby, a "king baby," rather than a true king. It is never too late to stop consuming and doing what babies do and, instead, to feed on the solid nourishment of God’s truth and start teaching it.

Father, today, help us to start applying the truth like never before!
