When All Hell Breaks Loose

Life can flip upside down fast; plans fall apart, stress piles up, and everything feels out of control. In moments like that, it’s easy to panic or wonder where God is.

But Scripture reminds us that chaos doesn’t mean God has left.

In Psalm 46 it says, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Not sometimes present; ever-present. That means right in the middle of the mess, the confusion, and the fear… He is there.

God doesn’t promise a life without storms. What He promises is His presence in them.

Think about Mark 4 when Jesus was in the boat during the storm. The waves were crashing, the disciples were terrified; and Jesus was still there. When everything felt like it was breaking apart, He brought peace with just a word.

When all hell breaks loose:

• You don’t have to have it all together

• You don’t have to understand everything

• You just have to remember Who is with you

God, when life feels overwhelming and everything is falling apart, help me remember You are near. Calm my heart even if You don’t calm the storm right away. Give me strength to trust You, one step at a time. Amen.
