Don’t Let Your Labor Be in Vain
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” — 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NKJV)
There are times when we work, serve, pray, encourage, and pour ourselves into others, yet see little evidence of the fruit. It can be tempting to wonder, “Is any of this making a difference?”
God reminds us that our labor for Him is never wasted. People may not notice. Results may not come quickly. But God sees every act of obedience, every prayer, every sacrifice, and every seed planted in faith.
Our responsibility is not to control the results—it is to remain steadfast and faithful. What we do for Jesus has eternal value, even when we cannot see it.
Don’t quit. Don’t grow weary. Keep serving, keep praying, and keep planting. Your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Challenge
Today, faithfully do what God has called you to do, even if nobody applauds and you see no immediate results. Leave the harvest in His hands.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me that my labor in You is never in vain. When I become tired, discouraged, or tempted to give up, strengthen my heart and renew my faith. Give me perseverance to keep serving, patience to wait for Your timing, and courage to remain steadfast when I cannot see the results. Help me to trust You with every seed I plant and every work I do for Your glory. Keep me faithful until the end. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
