When All Life Brings Is Rain
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33 (NKJV)
There are seasons when it feels like all life brings is rain. The skies seem gray, prayers appear unanswered, and every step forward is met with another storm. Yet God’s promises are not dependent on the weather of our circumstances.
Rain may soak the ground, but it also nourishes what is growing beneath the surface. In the same way, God often uses life’s storms to deepen our faith, strengthen our character, and draw us closer to Him. While we may not understand the purpose of every trial, we can trust the One who walks with us through each one.
If today feels like another rainy day, don’t lose heart. The same God who sends the rain also paints the rainbow. He has not forgotten you. Hold tightly to His promises, keep praying, and keep trusting. The rain won’t last forever, but His faithfulness will.
Heavenly Father, when life feels heavy and the storms seem endless, remind me that You are with me. Help me trust Your purpose in every trial and give me the strength to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus. Thank You that Your faithfulness never fails, even on the rainiest days. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
