Why the Church Will Never Die

Jesus said, “I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” — Matthew 16:18 (NKJV)

The church has faced persecution, opposition, division, and countless attacks throughout history. Yet it continues to stand—not because the church is made up of perfect people, but because it belongs to a perfect Savior.

The church will never die because Jesus is alive, His Word is eternal, and His Spirit is still at work. Governments may change, cultures may shift, and circumstances may become difficult, but nothing can stop what Christ is building.

Our responsibility is not to worry about whether the church will survive. Our responsibility is to be faithful, share the Gospel, love people, make disciples, and keep our eyes on Jesus.

The church doesn’t survive because we are strong. It survives because Christ is faithful.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, help us remain faithful to Your church, courageous in sharing Your Gospel, and confident that You will accomplish Your purposes. In Jesus name Amen.
