Listen to God's Voice and Be Ready to Learn

“Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David.” — Isaiah 55:3 (NLT)

You’ve heard the saying, “You are what you eat.” In the same way, when you expect God to speak to you, the natural outcome is that you begin to reflect what He speaks about.

This doesn't come from religious duty, but from a love relationship with Him. We listen—and we stay ready to be taught.

Isaiah said, “He wakens my ear to listen like one being taught.”

And you've probably read the fortune cookie wisdom: “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.”

But there’s a difference between hearing and truly listening.

Isaiah 55:3 reminds us: “Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life...”

Be a student—humble, hungry, and teachable. Be ready to learn, and willing to apply everything your Father wants to reveal to you.

The noise of work, media, and our own self-doubt can create static in our connection with God.

It’s time to turn down the volume and tune in. Listen and learn from the One who longs to lead you into all of His ways.
