When One Part Hurts
“And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.” — 1 Corinthians 12:26 (NKJV)
God never intended His people to walk through pain alone. The church is described as the Body of Christ, and every believer is an important part of that body. When one part hurts, we all hurt. When one part rejoices, we all celebrate.
Too often we ignore the pain of others because we don’t fully understand it. But Jesus calls us to bear one another’s burdens, to pray, encourage, and stand alongside those who are struggling. Compassion is one of the clearest marks of a healthy church.
If you’re hurting today, don’t isolate yourself. Let the body of Christ support you. And if someone around you is hurting, don’t look away. Reach out with the love of Christ. A simple prayer, kind word, or helping hand can become God’s instrument of healing.
Prayer Father, help me to have a heart that feels the burdens of others. Teach me to encourage those who are hurting and to receive help when I need it. Make our church a place where Your love is seen through genuine care for one another. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Team Wade loves you and is praying for you ❤️👊
