I’m Holding On
“Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord.” — Psalm 31:24 (NKJV)
There are seasons in life when all we can say is, “Lord, I’m holding on.” The trials seem endless, the answers seem delayed, and our strength feels gone. Yet God never asked us to hold on to our own strength. He calls us to hold on to Him.
Faith is not pretending everything is okay. Faith is choosing to trust God when life is anything but easy. The same God who carried Noah through the flood, Daniel through the lions’ den, and Paul through imprisonment is the God who promises to sustain His children today.
Holding on to Christ means believing His promises are greater than our problems. It means refusing to let go, knowing that He has promised, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” — Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV).
If you’re weary today, don’t give up. The hand you’re holding belongs to the One who conquered sin, death, and the grave. His grip on you is stronger than your grip on Him.
Heavenly Father, when my strength fails, help me hold on to You. Remind me that You are faithful and that Your promises never fail. Strengthen my heart and give me courage to trust You through every storm. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
