Strangers and Aliens

“Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul.” — 1 Peter 2:11 (NKJV)

As believers, we are living in this world, but this world is not our final home. Scripture calls us “sojourners and pilgrims”—strangers and aliens passing through on our way to an eternal home with Christ.

That truth should change how we live. We don’t have to chase everything this world values, because our identity and our future are found in Jesus. We are called to live differently, love differently, and represent Christ faithfully wherever God has placed us.

Don’t become so comfortable here that you forget where you’re going. We are citizens of heaven, living temporarily on earth.

Today’s Challenge

Live in this world without allowing this world to live in you. Let your life point others toward your true home—Jesus.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, help me remember that I am only passing through. Keep my heart focused on You and my eternal home. May my words, choices, and actions represent You well while I am here. In Jesus name Amen.

Team Wade loves you and is praying for you ❤️👊
