Unafraid to Get Lost in Your Love
“But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all Your works.” — Psalm 73:28 (NKJV)
In a world that constantly pulls for our attention, God invites us to draw near to Him. Many people are afraid of losing control, losing time, or losing themselves in wholehearted devotion to Christ. Yet the closer we come to Jesus, the more we discover who we were truly created to be.
Getting “lost” in God’s love is not losing our identity—it is finding it. His love quiets our fears, heals our wounds, and fills the emptiness that nothing else can satisfy. When we spend time in His presence through prayer, worship, and His Word, we begin to see life through His eyes rather than our own.
The apostle Paul understood this when he counted everything else as loss compared to knowing Christ. God’s love is not a place of confusion but a place of peace, security, and purpose.
Today, don’t be afraid to surrender more of your heart to Him. Get lost in His love, and you will find yourself resting in the arms of the One who knows you best and loves you most.
Lord Jesus, help me draw near to You without fear. Teach me to trust Your love completely and to find my joy, peace, and purpose in Your presence. May I never be afraid to surrender my heart fully to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
